2. Written by triguever on March 14, 2012 from boston, massachusetts, US omg, i am very upset and fustrated with WOW. When i went to get information to join i was going to get the $10 a month package and the sale Rep told me that if i choose the $19 a month it include babysitting and the classes. I took my kids the first time and it was okay the next time i tooked them, a sale Rep told that babysitting is not including in my package, so i told him that i was told it was included with the platinum package. I talked to manager about it and he was very rude and told me that he sales reps are well train, so i told him is not true becaue they are doing wrong advertisement and i talked with other people with the same issues. On top of everything i pay extra for a trainer and i only have being with the trainer twice and one of the time only for 15min instead of my 30min, she try to book my next session and she couldn't because of some billing issue, i told the it was paid in full, i try to contact the trainers manager and never got a call back..Someone need to put a stop to this bullshit..

4. Written by anonomus on January 26, 2012 from nashua, new hampshire, US HEY EVERYONE WITH A COMPLAINT!!!! I had issues with them making a duplicate account and being doubled billed. I canceled my membership and wanted to share the corporate email address with you all. 1-781-785-0160 That is their email and the corporate number chose option 8 to leave a general message. I got a faster response that way. I hope this helped!!
5. Written by Wendy Spoto on January 21, 2012 from lowell, massachusetts, US WOW advertises only $10.00 a month but when you sign up for the membership you are automatically charged an extra $1.00 for this multi-access fee. You don't have choice in this. I know it's only a dollar, but to me it's false advertising. Charging one extra dollar per member adds up to a very nice profit for this company.
6. Written by Bo on May 4, 2011 from newark, new jersey, US Do not sign up for WOW! I signed up in early January of this year for the promotional offer of $50 down and $19.97 a month. I then referred two friends to the gym and used their wow.com/share email system as directed. As advertised this would decrease my monthly dues by $10 ( $5 for each referral ) The system is faulty and doesn't work properly (they never received e-mails from wow). They then signed up with the same associate ( Steve @ North Brunswick ) as I did and he put my name manually in the computer as the referring member under both their profiles just in case of this exact situation. Still , 4 months later, they refuse to lower my dues and owe me a total of $40 dollars and counting. I have had numerous e-mail conversations with the back office, specifically Casandra Krayn) and about 10 phone conversations with the GM of the club, Walter. This company conducts very poor customer service and has an extreme issue with internal communication between employees.
7. Written by Paul Barratt on March 11, 2011 from providence, rhode island, US I joined WOW in March 2011. I had signed up with the gold membership. I wanted to upgrade to platinum so my brother could attend with me until he made the choice to sign up on his own or not. My 1st through 3rd visit to WOW went without hitch but on the 4th visit my brother and I weren't allowed to attend due to we left our ID's at home, even know this was not a problem before and we had our membership card we were turned away. I wanted to cancel the membership due to the incontinence we had during our time at WOW. I found out there is no cooperate office and 99% of the contact info they have posted on their website has been disconnected. I found out I have to cancel my membership only by canceling the card I had given them in order to sign up. The staff and support they have available was very unhelpful unsupportive and quit rude to our inquiries. I would recommend you find another guy as WOW will not be in business much longer with their current policies and practices. This month I have received a collection notice for money they are charging me for my membership there. My experience at WOW was very unpleasant and very inconvenient and very costly despite their advertisements.
8. Written by Len on December 30, 2010 from north attleboro, massachusetts, US I wish I had reviewed this sight and the BBB site before joining Work Out World. I tried to cancel because I was lied to when I joined. I was told I would pay a new members fee of $70 and my monthly fee would be $11 per month. At the end of the year I would get an annual charge of $49.95 in addition to my monthly rate. Instead they charged me the $70, the monthly fee and a month later they hit me up for an additional $49.99. I waited for over 30 minutes to get an operator and when someone finally spoke to me he told me I had to wait nearly 40 days to cancel my membership. These people are certainly not consumer friendly, I do not trust them, and I would not recommend anyone entrusting WOW with their credit card number.
| 9. Written by Laura on August 14, 2010 from baltic, connecticut, US I went to WOW to sign up to be a membership because I wanted to work out on the fitness machines so I signed up and I was lied to I was told that I had to sign up for a personal trainer and sign a contract and the expenses were to great so I cancelled my contract with a fee and certified letter. The fact that I was lied to about the personal trainer was deceitful because I did not need to and did not want to I am very disgusted with this and want to sell out my membership they deserve to lose my business. | 10. Written by Talentedinlife on March 18, 2009 from edison, new jersey, US I am in the process of canceling my membership two months early. My dues are completely paid for two months in advance including their $35 annual maintenance fee. When I called to ask about what I owe they told me I can't cancel until next month. I explained that my contract doesn't say that. It just says I need to full fill my financial obligations. The next day I went in person to pay the total amount. The lady at the the counter declared she remembered me calling yesterday. Before I left she told me it was a good thing I'm doing this ahead of time. Hmmm but, she told me I couldn't do this early. |
